BEFORE LOWERING WINDOWS
After tinting, keep windows fully raised; aim for the full 5 days.
Longer product instructions take priority. Some ceramic coatings need 14 days or longer before washing. Follow your supplied coating instructions; ask ALVION if unsure. Cold or humid conditions can also extend tint curing.
A GENTLE
WASH.
Start cool and rinse first
Wash in the shade on a cool surface. Rinse away loose dirt with a gentle hose before touching the finish.
Use mild soap and clean tools
Choose a pH-neutral automotive shampoo compatible with your finish. Use a clean microfiber mitt and separate wash and rinse buckets. Keep wheel tools separate.
Wash gently, from top to bottom
Work one panel at a time with light pressure. Rinse the mitt frequently. Do not scrub dry dirt or let soap dry on the vehicle.
Rinse and dry completely
Rinse thoroughly, then dry gently with a clean, plush microfiber towel or suitable air blower. Do not let mineral-rich water dry on the surface.

Vinyl wrap & chrome delete
Avoid brush car washes, harsh solvents and abrasive polishing. Use gentle hose pressure; never direct a pressure jet at seams or edges. For matte or satin finishes, use finish-safe products and avoid waxes or gloss enhancers that can change the appearance. Do not pull or trim a lifting edge yourself.
Paint protection film (PPF)
Small moisture pockets may appear while the film settles. Do not press, puncture or pick at them. Contact ALVION if they grow, worsen or remain beyond the advised curing period. Self-healing film may reduce fine surface marks; it cannot repair deep cuts, tears or every stone impact.
Window tint
Wait 3-5 days before lowering or cleaning newly tinted windows, unless instructed to wait longer. Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild, non-ammonia glass cleaner. Avoid blades, abrasive pads and hard objects against the film. Temporary haze can occur during curing; peeling, creases or persistent bubbles need inspection.
Ceramic coating
Follow the coating-specific no-wash and keep-dry periods. Avoid sprinklers and water spotting, especially while curing. Use only compatible maintenance products; do not polish, clay or use strong stain removers without advice. Coatings still need washing and do not make paint scratch-proof or immune to water spots.
After the initial waiting period: wash about every 1-2 weeks, or sooner when dirty. Remove bird droppings, bugs and sap promptly with a compatible cleaner. During curing, contact ALVION for safe spot-cleaning advice.

Send your job number, a short description and clear photos of lifting edges, persistent bubbles, stains or an uneven finish. Do not attempt to cut, heat, peel or rework the affected area. We will advise you and arrange inspection where needed.
